Thank you for your interest in the Neurology Residency Program at the University of Rochester.
Please note that we only accept applications submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Our neurology residency program is a four year categorical program that includes a PGY-1 year in internal medicine. Our deadline for receiving applications for PGY-1 positions beginning in July 2014 is November 1, 2013. We presently have no vacancies for neurology residency positions beginning in July 2013.
Please also note that, in accordance with our residency selection policy, we are unable to consider any applications from foreign medical graduates who are not ECFMG certified at the time of application to the residency program. We also only sponsor J1 visas. All applicants must achieve a score of 200 or greater on their first attempt on all steps of the USMLE in order to be considered for an interview. Our graduation cutoff date is May 1, 2012 for the current match cycle.
