Research Overview
Residents are encouraged to participate in clinical and basic science projects as a component of a comprehensive education. Residents within the Department of Imaging Sciences have been recognized nationally for innovative research. Many give formal presentations at major national radiologic meetings and publish their work in peer-reviewed journals.

Resident Participation at National Society Meetings 09-10
The Department of Imaging Sciences strongly supports resident participation in national scientific meetings. Residents were sponsored to attend the following meetings based on their scholarly activity. In addition, residents also attend educational and review conferences (not listed) using their individual academic stipends.
