Join Dr. Mrim Boutla (BCS PhD '03) for a workshop to help you get clear about your priorities, get connected to opportunities and mentors so that you can make informed decisions and get hired faster in and beyond academia.

Bio:
Dr. Mrim Boutla is a cognitive neuroscientist turned social entrepreneur. Her PhD and postdoctoral research in brain plasticity was published in peer-reviewed journals including Nature Neuroscience, and Cerebral Cortex before she became a career coach at Brown University and then at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. In 2010, Dr. Boutla co-founded MTMCareers with Dr. Mark Albion (Faculty Founder of Net Impact). The MTMCareers elearning platform distills Dr. Boutla's 10 years applying neuroscience principles to career coaching with Dr. Albion's 30+ years contributing the social business sector to equip students with the skills they need to secure internships and jobs in sustainability, cleantech, corporate social responsibility, impact investing and social change. MTMCareers is currently deployed across 38 campuses, which serve over 600,000 students. MTMCareers received the 2013 AshokaU/Cordes Award for Social Innovation as one of the most scalable solutions in Higher Education Innovation. Dr. Boutla earned her Bsc in Psychology from the Université Catholique de Louvain, and her MA and PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester.

Special Agents Chad Kaestle, Darin Schultz and Christina Peklak-Scott, PhD of the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, will present “Foreign Intelligence Threat Awareness and Careers with the Federal Bureau of Investigation”.
