The University of Rochester has a distinguished tradition of excellence in graduate training in Neuroscience. Information and application materials are available through the Office for Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs in the School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Students entering the program typically have a baccalaureate degree in one of the natural or applied sciences (e.g., Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering). All students, regardless of their undergraduate training, should have completed college-level coursework in the biological sciences, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. In addition, prior laboratory research experience is strongly recommended.
