Cancer is becoming more and more prevalent in today's society. I feel that it is crucial for us to better understand this disease in order for us to fight it. Therefore, I am interested in studying the mechanisms of cancer biology, as well as ways to prevent and combat cancerous cells

Individuals being treated with bisphosphonates for osteoporosis report a high incidence of osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) following dental surgery.  I am interested in studying the correlation between ONJ and the use of bisphosphonates to better understand the effect of these drugs on bone tissue.
