Overview

After working for a year as Faculty at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Massachusetts, Dr. Smith returned as Faculty to Rochester.   He cares for patients at the Family Medicine Center with a few nontraditional roles:  He performs Caesarean deliveries and D&Cs at Highland Hospital and  no-scalpel vasectomies at Lovejoy Family Medicine, supervises Maternity care at the Brown Square Community Health Center, and acts as the Medical Director of Highland Family Planning, which focuses on providing contraception and reproductive screening to uninsured, at-risk youth. 

In his personal life he is still attached to his New England roots and enjoys cooking, hiking, and gardening with his wife and children.
