Mark is a Senior Instructor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation and a board-certified and fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician. He treats patients from the youngest athletes to seniors of any age. He is a Medical Consultant to the Rochester Knighthawks, the Rochester Rattlers, and St John Fisher College. He also serves as the supervising physician for University Sports Medicine athletic trainers at Greece, Kendall, Wheatland-Chili, and Spencerport High Schools. While in Cleveland, he was a team physician for the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians – as well as Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, and several high schools. His particular clinical interests include tendonitis, overuse injuries, osteoarthritis, acute sports trauma, and medical management for athletes with concussion, asthma, hypertension, skin problems, and other medical diseases. In addition to sports medicine, Dr Mirabelli maintains a small primary care panel with particular interest in men’s health and minor surgical procedures. His personal interests include gardening, travel, and playing hockey. |
