Overview

Matt Fleig, MD, is a Rochester native and was happy to be able to return to his hometown. Previously, he had completed his BS in Human Anatomy at the National College of Chiropractic and his MD at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL.

He returned to Rochester to complete his Family Medicine residency and stayed on an additional year as chief resident. Matt has continued on as faculty in the Family Medicine Department where he teaches residents.

His particular areas of interest are Obstetrics. He and his partner, Rich, recently purchased a house in the Browncroft neighborhood on the east side of Rochester. They are looking forward to more space for visiting friends and family. They continue to enjoy bike riding along the canal, movies at the art house theatre, and dinner together with friends. They are also active in supporting ESPA, an organization that strives to achieve legislation for gay and lesbian rights in New York State.
