Dr. Hiroshi Miyamoto's Laboratory
The Miyamoto Laboratory is investigating the role of steroid hormone receptors in prostate and bladder cancers. Our primary work involves the following:
1. Isolating a new class of androgen receptor antagonists.
2. Investigating novel androgen receptor co-regulators in prostate cancer.
3. Elucidating the underlying mechanisms of how androgens promote bladder carcinogenesis and cancer progression.
