Supplemental Table 1

Genes significantly enriched in Neurocytoma relative to normal adult VZ tissue

Affymetrix U133A microarray analysis was performed on total RNA extracted from three neurocytoma tumor resections and the resulting expression profiles compared against normal adult human ventricular zone tissue (adult VZ). Affymetrix Probe sets significantly expressed in neurocytoma were identified by two-way t-test against both adult VZ. These probe sets were annotated to 835 genes. This table indicates the ratio of neurocytoma gene expression relative to that of adult VZ; expression ratios are shown with standard errors. All genes reached statistical significance using a 10% false-discovery rate. Only probe sets flagged as 'present' by MAS5 in all three neurocytoma samples were used in the analysis.
