Healthy volunteers are needed for many clinical trials. There are two ways to be considered a healthy volunteer:
- You have no known medical conditions.
- You have a medical condition but it's unrelated to the clinical trial in question. For example, let's say you have the medical condition psoriasis but are interested in being part of a study on diabetes. If you don't have diabetes you may be considered a healthy volunteer.
We've assembled a list of current studies that are looking for healthy volunteers. Take a look at what's available and click on that study to learn more about it.
If you can't find any current studies that interest you, consider signing up for the URMC Volunteer Registry for a fast and easy way to be notified of upcoming studies.
