Highland Bariatric Center featured on WHAM 13
Highland Hospital was the setting for an informative report on bariatric surgery for weight loss, and body contouring surgery (such as tummy tucks, arm and thigh lifts) for patients who have experienced significant weight loss and want to eliminate the excess skin that sometimes results. Highland’s Chief of Bariatric Surgery, William E. O’Malley, M.D., explained the surgical options available and how patients prepare for the best long-term results.
Body contouring surgeon Jeffrey Gusenoff, M.D., showed before-and-after pictures of weight loss patients who have undergone plastic surgery and outlined the benefits of the Life After Weight Loss support group/educational program. Patients Sherrie Neale and Deb Wilson discussed the positive life changes they’ve experienced after surgery.
