WHEC Sports Anchor Looks Into Hip Resurfacing Procedure Offered at Evarts Joint Center
Rochester, N.Y., February 13, 2012 – An orthopedic surgeon at Highland Hospital’s Evarts Joint Center offers a procedure that allows adults with early arthritis to continue to play sports and exercise after surgery. WHEC-TV Sports Anchor Robin De Wind interviewed Christopher Drinkwater, M.D., about hip resurfacing and the benefits it has for active adults in their 40s and 50s.
“They can get back to basketball, tennis, skiing and I have people playing lacrosse,” Dr. Drinkwater told Robin.
