Free Mammograms, Clinical Breast Exams Offered May 16

The Highland Breast Imaging Center in conjunction with The Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester and the Health Partnership of Monroe County are celebrating Mothers Day and National Women's Health week by offering free mammograms to women 40 and older who do not have health insurance or their health insurance does not cover mammograms. The Day of Screening event date is Friday, May 16, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Breast Imaging Center, Highland Hospital location, 1000 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, a Nurse Practitioner will be available to perform clinical breast exams for women who have not had one during the past year. Parking is free and refreshments will be provided.
Please call the Breast Imaging Center at 487-3300 to make an appointment in advance. Women who cannot make the screening day can be scheduled for a different day. If you have questions or need more information, please contact Sue Swift at 487-3305.
