instructions for registering and using illiad at Highland

To create your own ILLiad user account:

• Log onto ILLiad at https://illiad.lib.rochester.edu/MIN/
• Click on the red box labeled First Time Users to access the registration form.
• Highland users, please note - when completing the required information on the registration form:
  • Make sure to select Highland under affiliation
  • If you want books and print articles sent to Highland, be sure to select Highland Hospital Library under "location"
  • ILLiad relies on URMC email accounts for verification of status. Highland physicians or staff without URMC email should contact the Library staff for help in setting up accounts.
  • Once the form has been submitted, an account information screen will appear. Because there is no charge for Highland users, click Exit to Main Menu. To assure you will not be charged, do not make any changes to this screen.
    

To place requests:

• Log onto ILLiad at https://illiad.lib.rochester.edu/MIN/
• Enter your username and password
• Select the appropriate request option (book or journal)
• Complete the fields describing the item as well as the deadlines and delivery fields.
• Leave the payment option as the default - you will not be charged.
• When all information has been entered, click Submit Request.
  

To check the status of existing requests, retrieve online requests, or change user information:

• Log onto ILLiad at https://illiad.lib.rochester.edu/MIN/ and enter your username and password
• Select the appropriate option from ILLiad's main menu
