Meals
Highland's Nutritional Services Department strives to provide quality, nutritious food prepared for your specific diet. Your doctor and dietician will determine the diet best suited for your physical condition. Changes in your diet order may require changes to your meal selections. Nutritional services will substitute the appropriate foods when this occurs, based on foods you like. Let the dietary staff or your nurse know if you have food preferences based on personal, cultural, or religious reasons (e.g., kosher, vegetarian, or lactose free). We will make every effort to honor your choices, but occasionally we may have to make substitutions.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria is located on Level One of the East Wing. It is open seven days a week and offers a cold bar, hot bar, deli, beverage, and snacks. The Cafeteria is open from 6:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and closed daily between 3:30–4:00 p.m.
- Breakfast: 6:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m.
- Lunch (hot): 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
- Dinner (hot): 4:00 p.m.– 6:30 p.m.
Other Food Options
Other food options are provided throughout the hospital in the surgical waiting area off the main lobby on Level 2, next to the cafeteria on Level 1, and near the gray elevator by the North Entrance on Level 2.
