John R. Williams Health Sciences Library
The Williams Health Sciences Library, located on Level 2 of the South wing of the hospital, welcomes patients and their families Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. In addition to a small Consumer Health Collection, the library has medical and nursing books and a current journal collection. Access to up-to-date health care information through the Internet is also available.
For people with visual limitations or qualifying physical disabilities, the library provides application forms for the NY State Talking Book and Braille Library. The Talking Book and Braille Library program offers tapes and cassette players or Braille books to eligible individuals at no charge.
The library staff is available to help research health related questions. If you have questions, please call us at 341-6761, or from inside the hospital dial extension 1-6761.
