Visiting Hours & Information
Visitors
You are welcome to have up to two visitors at a time from 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. We will try to adjust visiting hours to meet your individual needs. However, to help you get the rest you need to recuperate, visiting hours may be limited at the discretion of the nursing staff. If you wish to restrict visitors at any time, please notify your nurse. Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
Visitors for Obstetrical Patients
We encourage the family to take part in the birthing experience in our spacious Hartfelder Family Maternity Center. The number of visitors allowed during labor varies with each situation and is determined by the health care providers, in collaboration with the patient. Visitors may wait in the family waiting room or the balcony waiting area until the baby is born. After the delivery, the father of the baby or your person of choice may visit your room at any time. All other visitors are welcome from 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Your own children, accompanied by an adult, may also visit during that time.
Visitors for "Guarded" and Hospice Patients
For patients with a condition identified as "guarded" outside the Intensive Care Unit, and for hospice patients, 24-hour visitation privileges are permitted.
Intensive Care Patients
Visiting hours in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) differ from other areas. Please check with the ICU nursing staff for specific information. Flowers and fruit are not allowed in the ICU.
