We've helped hundreds of people learn about bariatric surgery at our informational seminars. The sessions are led by either William E. O'Malley, M.D., F.A.C.S., who has performed nearly 1,000 gastric bypass procedures, more than any other surgeon in Upstate New York, or by Thad J. Boss, M.D., F.A.C.S. The surgeons present a balanced view of surgery, including potential risks and benefits and life after surgery. Plus, you'll be able to ask questions during a Q&A period.
If you are at least 100 pounds overweight, or have a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or more, please enroll in our seminar. You will learn whether bariatric surgery is right for you.
We hold two sessions a month at Highland Hospital with a morning and afternoon session to choose from.
