The Highland Infusion Center
The Highland Infusion Center cares for patients with cancer and other chronic conditions that require intravenous treatments, injections, and blood transfusions.
The center is an open, friendly room that has the capacity to service 12 people at a time. It is staffed by a dedicated team of registered nurses and certified oncology nurses who work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and support staff to provide treatments and procedures in a caring, respectful, and compassionate manner.
We are partners in your care, providing education, treatments, emotional support, and ongoing open communication that is necessary to help you on your path toward healing.

The Highland Infusion Center is located on the first floor of Highland Hospital, adjacent to the Oncology Clinic.

Infusion Room Staff
Nurses: Our nurses are all registered nurses with expertise in the administration of intravenous infusions and all are certified in the administration of chemotherapy medications. Most of our nurses are Oncology Nurse Certified by the National Oncology Nursing Society.
Pharmacist: Our pharmacist is affiliated with the University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, and is knowledgeable regarding chemotherapeutic agents, management of side effects, and keeping patients and staff safe during the administration of these medications.
Patient Care Tech (PCT): Our PCT helps patients to feel cozy and comfy during their stay with us and family members to feel confident in leaving their loved ones in our care.
Medical Secretary: Our secretary greets patients and families with a warm heart and friendly smile to schedule appointments and take referrals from other physicians.
