Mary Capacci, RN, MSN, CDE

Prior to joining the team as a Diabetes Nurse Educator, Mary practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in the Primary Care Network @ Strong Health/ Highland Hospital (FNP) for 23 years.  She will be taking the C.D.E. certification exam in the fall of 2008.

Educational background included: R.N. / St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing; B.S.N./ S.U.N.Y @ Brockport; M.S.N.,A.N.P( Adult N.P.) @ University of Buffalo and post graduate work @ University of Rochester to be certified as a F.N.P.

Volunteers weekly @ St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Health Center as a Diabetes Nurse Educator for uninsured and underinsured individuals and families.
