Donate Blood
Often in an emergency, doctors need to give blood to their patients. Often the need for blood is critical and can make the difference between life and death. This blood comes from generous donations from people throughout the community. Almost every adult can donate blood, but only only a fraction of those who can, do, even though the process is simple and nearly painless. Consider donating blood, and giving someone in our community the gift of life.
The American Red Cross coordinates blood drives at their offices as well as in various community locations. Call 1-800-GIVELIFE or go to www.givelife.org to find a blood drive near you.
