Our Nurses
Our team of nurses focuses on providing patient-centered care to every person who comes through our doors. Registered nurses (RNs) direct and deliver comprehensive patient care, and supervise the activities of our patient care technicians.
Our nurses are equipped to begin basic treatment—blood can be drawn and x-rays taken—before the doctor even meets with the patient. This means the doctor can assess the patient, blood tests, and x-rays all at the same time, and prescribe medical treatment much more quickly.
Each nurse is assigned to a "zone" with several different patients, and has primary responsibility for the care of each person in that zone. Your nurse acts as the focal point for all emergency room personnel caring for you. He or she shares all pertinent information and coordinates activities throughout your stay.
