Ms. DeWeese received her Bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo and her Master's degree from Syracuse University. She serves as Supervisor of Speech Pathology at Highland Hospital. She joined URMC/Strong Health in 2000.
Ms. DeWeese is certified to perform FEES and serves as a trainer for other speech pathologists in the Rochester area. Her special areas of interest include adult dysphagia (oropharyngeal and esophageal), brain injury, and trach/ventilator-dependent patients.

Ms. Mevs received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from SUNY Geneseo. Her special areas of interest include adult dysphagia, aphasia, and traumatic brain injury. Ms. Mevs is certified to perform FEES and performs Modified Barium Swallow studies for inpatients and outpatients. She joined URMC/Strong Health in 2003.
