Pre-Admission Testing Center

You and your doctor have decided that you need surgery. To prepare you for your procedure, you'll need to go through pre-admission.

The Highland Hospital Pre-Admission Testing Center is dedicated to meeting the needs of our preoperative patients and their families. A visit to the center gives each patient the opportunity to incorporate all registration, testing, teaching and health history review into one visit.

Making Your Appointment

Contact us at (585) 341-6707 to schedule your pre-admission visit. We're open Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

Pre-admission and testing should be completed at least 2 days, but not more than 30 days, before your scheduled surgery. Your appointment will take between 30 to 90 minutes.

Admission

There are several different ways for patients to be admitted, including:

• Same day (outpatient) surgery scheduled by your physician
• Inpatient medical treatment or surgery scheduled by your physician
• Maternity labor and delivery
