Pink Glove Dance Video Earns Top Honors in 33rd Annual Telly Awards

DeBergerac Productions, Inc. of Fairport has received four Telly Awards for Highland Hospital’s Pink Glove Dance video, including two Silver Awards and two Bronze Awards. The Silver Telly is the highest honor from the Telly Awards. The video was one of 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
DeBergerac filmed and edited Highland’s Pink Glove Dance video in partnership with Cheshire AV, which managed the project. The video featured Highland employees, dancing in pink surgical gloves to promote breast cancer awareness. It was entered into a national Pink Glove Dance contest in October 2011 with nearly 140 entries and won second place after receiving close to 58,000 online votes.
DeBergerac submitted the video to the Telly Awards under the title "In the Pink." It received all four of its awards in the category, "Internet/Online Programs, Segments or Promotional Pieces."

A judging panel of more than 500 accomplished industry professionals - each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council - judged the competition. Entries do not compete against each other; rather, entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10 percent of entries are selected as winners of a Silver Telly, and approximately 25 percent of entries are chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.
