Ian M. Deutchki, M.D., Joins Highland Family Medicine

Dr. Ian Deutchki
Highland Family Medicine welcomes Ian M. Deutchki, M.D., as an attending physician. He is board certified in Family Medicine and has completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine.
Dr. Deutchki will spend part of his time at Family Medicine where he will provide direct patient care, teach residents and direct geriatric education for the residency program. He will also spend part of his clinical time with the Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine; in this role, he will see geriatric patients at Monroe Community Hospital.
Prior to coming to Highland Family Medicine, Dr. Deutchki worked at Lancaster General Health Urgent Care Center in Lancaster, Pa. He was also the chief resident at Lancaster General Family Medicine where he facilitated the redesign of emergency medicine training.
Dr. Deutchki graduated with high honors from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Premedicine and a minor in Psychology. He earned his medical degree from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He received teaching honors at Penn State for his work with students in their Family and Community Clerkship.
