Highland "Gets Its Pink On" During Video Filming

A group of about 60 breast cancer survivors and patients joined more than 150 Highland Hospital employees at the Highland Bowl to film the closing scene to its Pink Glove Dance video.
Highland is entering the video, that will debut Oct. 12 at its Breast Cancer Education Event, in a national contest. The project's focus is to raise awareness of breast cancer and to support efforts for screenings and continued research.
Local news stations - including YNN, 13WHAM-TV and WHEC-TV - stopped by to talk to participants and Highland Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Cindy Becker, about the event. A photo gallery was produced on our Internet site and online at DemocratandChronicle.com.
"...Everyone is pulling together. Every department is doing their part," said Rebecca Measer, a Highland employee and breast cancer survivor, in a 13WHAM-TV interview.
