Lauren J. Gleason, M.D.
Lauren J. Gleason, M.D., has joined Highland Hospital as a hospitalist in the Geriatrics Department.
Dr. Gleason recently completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center with distinction in research. She earned her medical degree from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Gleason graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Cornell University.
She has received a variety of honors and awards, including a 2012 Rochester Academy of Medicine Geriatrics Award and the 2011 T. Franklin Williams Award at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Gleason is a member of the American Geriatrics Society and American College of Physicians. She also founded the American Geriatrics Society Resident Interest Group at the University of Rochester.
