Brian Thomas, D.O.
Brian Thomas, D.O., has joined Highland Hospital in the Anesthesiology Department.
Most recently, Dr. Thomas was the chief resident in Anesthesiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He earned his degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, N.Y., and received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at St. John Fisher College.
Dr. Thomas grew up in Hilton and worked at Wegmans as a Pharmacy Technician for seven years before going away to medical school. He also worked locally as a research biochemist at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company.
“I really gained an appreciation for pharmacology and biochemistry in some of my previous roles,” Dr. Thomas said. “I’m excited now to be joining Highland and look forward to being part of the Anesthesiology Team.”
