Highland Welcomes Melissa Mroz, M.D., to GAMA

Melissa Mroz, M.D.
Melissa Mroz, M.D., has joined Highland Hospital’s Geriatrics and Medicine Associates (GAMA) where she will be teaching residents. Dr. Mroz also is working at the University of Rochester Medical Center as a Senior Instructor of Medicine in the General Medicine Division as well as a Senior Instructor of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
“I really love teaching residents,” Dr. Mroz said. “You learn more by teaching, and the residents keep us on our toes, so I’m looking forward to working with them at Highland.”
Dr. Mroz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Highland, she was the Outpatient Chief Resident at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. Dr. Mroz earned her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
