Day of Surgery
On the morning of your surgery, if your surgeon has instructed you to take medication, use no more than one ounce of water.
Before coming to the hospital, remove all makeup, jewelry, body piercings, nail polish, and contact lenses. Do not bring any valuables including a money, wallet, purse, or cell phone. If you must bring valuable items, plan to leave them with a family member or friend while you are in surgery.
Arrange to be dropped off at the main entrance of the Hospital, or park in the main parking garage adjacent to the Hospital and go directly to the Highland Surgery Center. The staff at the Information Desk in the Lobby can request wheelchair transportation if necessary.
Arrive 10 minutes early. If you arrive late, there is a possibility that your surgery will be canceled.
