Miner now offers access to the Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI) database. HAPI provides a convenient way to locate information on hard-to-find measurement tools such as questionnaires, interview schedules, tests, checklists, rating scales and coding schemes. Most of the tools are in medical and nursing areas such as pain measurement and quality of life assessment. However, HAPI also includes measurement tools used in the fields of psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech and hearing therapy.
Although HAPI does not contain the full-text of the tools, database users can easily sort their search results to identify tools published in journal articles or available for purchase from the Behavioral Measurement Database Services' instrument delivery service.
