The online version of Journal Citation Reports (JCR) , one of the most highly regarded tools for evaluating the quality and impact of leading research journals, is now available on the Miner Library website. JCR is used by authors to identify the top journals in which to publish; by publishers and editors to monitor the standing of their journals and those of their competitors; and by librarians to manage library journal collections. It consists of two parts: the Science Edition covering over 6,100 international science journals, and the Social Sciences Edition covering approximately 1,800 international social sciences journals. You can view a list of all journals or browse by subject category or publisher. The lists can be sorted by impact factor, total cites, total articles, and immediacy index. The University of Rochester libraries' subscription to JCR begins with the 2003 edition.
