NEW: OvidSP

On Wednesday, January 23rd Miner Library migrated to Ovid's new search and discovery platform called OvidSP. In addition to a fresh design, OvidSP features:

• Personal Accounts - save searches, set up AutoAlerts and eTOC alerts using e-mail or RSS delivery, and annotate search results.
• Extended Session Timeouts- inactive sessions will not time out for one hour when the Ovid site remains open in the browser window.
• Spell Check - catch misspellings of search terms.
• Display Abstracts - without leaving the search results page.

The Ovid Syntax tab provides all Ovid's advanced search options including mapping to MeSH terms and other subject headings, as well as Boolean searching. Continue to click the Find Text button to link to full-text articles. Click here to view a screenshot of OvidSP.
