images.md added to Miner library

Need a medical image for a presentation or a class you're scheduled to teach?   Thanks to a generous gift from the Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries images.MD is now available on Miner Library's website.   images.MD is an online encyclopedia of medical images that compiles more than 50,000 images ranging from allergy to urology.   Each image is accompanied by detailed, authoritative text. The image database can be browsed by medical specialty or collection, and searched by keyword or image type. URMC faculty, staff, and students can create their own image library to be used for research, teaching, and study. You can download the images to your computer or create a PowerPoint slide show that will be emailed to you within an hour. All the text that accompanies the images can be edited.
