Funding Opportunities

To promote collaborations between CIBEM faculty and experimental lab in investigators, 2-3 grants per year to fund collection of bioinformatics data will be awarded. Focus of awards will be for experiments based on:

  • New bioinformatics technologies
  • Novel study design
  • Data requiring novel bioinformatics analysis and modeling methods
  • Potential to publish in top scientific and bioinformatics journals
  • Potential to generate external grant funding

A budget of $30,000-$50,000 (direct cost only) per project may be requested for a one-year award.

The deadline for this proposal will be: March 15, 2013. The award will be announced on May 1, 2013.
