The Phipps' laboratory has diverse research interests ranging from antibody production, to lung and cardiovascular disease, to ocular diseases. We have a special ability to link scientific and medical discoveries into new concepts that tie together diseases and fundamental disease processes. For example, scarring in the lung has many similarities to ocular scarring.
