About Our Program
Pulmonary Fellowship
The Pulmonary Fellowship focuses on academic medicine and clinical practice. It includes bedside and laboratory exposure and mentoring for academic development. Fellows fulfill requirements for certification in Pulmonary Diseases and, if desired, Critical Care Medicine. Training includes rotations in Medical Intensive Care and the Pulmonary Disease Consulting Service with additional rotations on Pulmonary Service and the combined Surgical- Medical Intensive Care Unit. Subsequent scheduling focuses on specific interests with encouragement to devote a minimum of one year to research. Curricula include clinical care, clinical research, and basic research. Allergy/Immunology Fellowship
The Allergy/Immunology Fellowship is a two-year program that prepares physicians to work in private practice, academia and other settings. It offers opportunities for comprehensive and extended research with leading scientists in clinical trials, outcomes studies, translational and bench research, germinal center biology, developmental immunology, vaccine biology, aging, HIV infection and gene therapy.
