Microbiology & Immunology
Lending Library:
Purpose of the library
The basic idea is to provide a means for students (or postdocs or faculty or staff) of the Department of Microbiology & Immunology to look at books colleagues have found useful. It is meant to give people an opportunity to peruse a book and decide whether or not it is worth getting a copy. Imagine that it is like standing at a bookstore, looking over the book and flipping thorough the pages, except you get to do it a bit longer, and take the book home for a trial period. The goal is to figure out if this is something you should buy yourself (or get your advisor to buy for your lab, or ask your mother to buy it for you as a birthday present) This is a first set of books in the library. It has the name of the book, a picture of the front cover, and a phrase about the book, as well as the recommender. They are available for 1 week checkout. e mail John Frelinger or stop by his office to check one out (2-11104) - near the Microbiology and Immunology office.
