Mead received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and her doctoral degree in Biophysics from the University of Chicago. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester and a one-year fellowship in Neurology at St. Mary's Hospital through the University of Rochester. Dr. Mead provides the acute coverage for several of the area's long-term care facilities at Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital. She also has an active nursing home practice.
