In 1982, Dr. Robert McCann graduated from SUNY - Health Science Center at Syracuse and completed his residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine's Primary Care program in 1987.
Dr. McCann developed and helped to manage the Independent Living for Seniors Program, Rochester's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). As Chief of Medicine at Highland Hospital, Dr. McCann has assembled a group of geriatricians that work closely with the geriatric fellows on service at Highland Hospital Acute Care for Elders (ACE) unit. His interests include end of life issues, physician-patient communication, and improving functional outcomes of hospitalized patients. Faculty Directory
