Dr. John Grable has a joint appointment in Hospital Medicine and General Medicine Divisions. As Assistant Residency Program Director, he organizes student and resident scholarly activity programs, including Poster Day and the new Research Option curriculum offered through the residency program. His personal research interests include developing smoking cessation programs for both inpatients and outpatients. He is in the process of obtaining funding for a study of a new quitting method for low socioeconomic clinic patients using a home care nurse intervention. |
