• Presides over DHCC meetings
• Chairs the Leadership Team (LT) to plan agenda and appoints DHCC representatives for NCC with Leadership Team
• Creates Ad Hoc subcommittees as deemed necessary and appoints Ad Hoc subcommittee chairs
• Participates in NCDHR’s weekly Executive Committee meetings
• Contact person for all DHCC internal and external inquiries
• Conduct duties and/or participate events as deemed necessary
• Serves one year term

• Presides over DHCC meetings in the event that the Chair is unable to attend
• Participates in Leadership Team meetings
• Chairs the DHCC Evaluation and Outreach Subcommittees
• Appoints Assistant Vice-Chair

The newly elected Vice-Chair will appoint an Assistant Vice-Chair sometime in November 2009.

• Presides over DHCC meetings in the event that the Chair and the Vice-Chair are unable to attend

• Chairs the DHCC Governance Guidelines Subcommittee
