Deaf Health Community Committee (DHCC)
The DHCC is a diverse group of Deaf and hearing community members with goals of working with the NCDHR researchers on various projects to promote an understanding of the Deaf ASL-users and their families’ health needs. More than half of DHCC members are Deaf ASL-users.

Mission
The mission of DHCC is to help Deaf communities, researchers, and health providers to work together on understanding the health needs of culturally Deaf people.

National Community Committee (NCC)
The NCC of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention PRCs is dedicated to help build capacity in communities within local PRCs not traditionally involved in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of preventive research initiatives.
