How to Apply
Between 1-2 positions are available per year for residents participating in either the adult or pediatric neurology program. Graduates from MD/PhD programs as well as MD graduates with evidence of substantive and cohesive research experience and an interest in academic medicine are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants must apply to the Adult or Child Neurology Residency Program at the University of Rochester through ERAS to be considered. Acceptance into NeuroART is contingent upon acceptance into the Neurology Residency Program.
In addition to completing the NeuroART supplemental biosketch, applicants must solicit two letters of reference from research mentors familiar with the candidate’s attributes and potential for an independent research career. Prospective candidates will visit with members of the residency and NeuroART program committees, as well as with faculty working in areas relevant to the applicant's expressed interest(s).
For further details about the program or application procedures, please contact Ms. Clara Vigelette, the Neurology Residency Program administrator, at (585) 275-2545.
