Movement & Inherited Neurological Disorders Unit (MIND)

URMC Neurology Research

Scope of Research: Clinical Research and Experimental Therapeutics

Goals are to initiate, coordinate and carry out clinical trials and epidemiological studies related to movement disorders, inherited and acquired neurological disorders. Key element is training program in Experimental Therapeutics for fellows.

  • Clinical trials and observational studies related to Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, neuroAIDS, stroke, cervical dystonia, painful peripheral neuropathy, demyelinating disorders and neuromuscular diseases.
  • Opportunity to develop skills in design, conduct and biostatistical components of clinical trials.
