Calcific embolus in middle cerebral artery after valvulotomy: The arrow points to the locus of interest, a calcified-embolus at the terminal portion of the main stem of the middle cerebral artery on the left side, just before it branches. The embolic material originated from the mitral valve and broke free during a valvulotomy procedure. |
