Hemorrhagic infarct, recent: The dark-colored convolutions ascending from the Sylvian fissure over the convexity of the hemisphere contain areas of hemorrhagic infarction. (Some of the vessels on the external surface are unusually prominent because of post-mortem injection of opaque material).
