Glioblastoma multiforme: Glioblastomas are a more highly malignant form of astrocytoma. An example is seen in this coronal section. The tumor involves temporal cortex, deep gray nuclei and white matter. The mass effect of the tumor has produced a marked midline shift to the opposite side. |
